Andressa Urach
Andressa Urach, who was then fifteen years old, started dating Tiago Costa. After dating for three months, the couple moved into his home. Arthur Urach Costa, born May 19, 2005, was the sole child of the couple. Six years later separation, the couple divorced due to marital issues. Andressa was at her mother's home with her son. After six months of living there, Urach lost her job and placed her son under the care of his father. She had a primary objective to build a better lifestyle and a better life in Sao Paulo. Andressa Urach claims in her memoir Morri para Viver in which she claims that her abused in sexual ways from 2-8 years old by her foster grandfather. Andressa Urach only got rid of all this because her foster grandma was able to catch her doing it. Andressa then returned home to her mother, which was unaware she was being abused prior to when Andressa published her memoir. In interviews that she achieved what, for her, could not be done prior to her spiritual journey: Forgiving her abuser. One of the hardest decisions I ever made was calling the man who had abused me sexually. This wasn't easy to do. After many prayer vows and fasting, I told him over the phone that I had forgiven the man and, even though I was not guilty I also asked forgiveness. The request to forgive me was not justified. Mariste Urach describes her reaction in an exclusive interview with Globo after she learned that harassment occurred against her daughter. The woman traveled to the town where the pedophile lives, in the center of Rio Grande do Sul willing to take revenge on him.
