Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son of Richard McCormick. Her father was a teacher and her mom was a housewife. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. Beginning at a very early stage of life, McCormick enjoyed singing and dance, and she would frequently perform puppet shows for kids in the community. The fairytale story of her rise to fame began when she took home her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest at the age of six, which prompted being contacted by an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked if she'd like to enter the show industry. Her first major role came during 1964, which was when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she starred in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial before being cast in Wind It up and It's Broken in the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, who was selected from over 1500 auditioned children, was cast as the oldest of three double-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick admitted her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity to Barry Williams during the five-year period on the program. He was 19. She was 16.
