Dwayne Douglas

Dwayne Douglas Johnson also known by the name of The Rock, was born on the 2nd of May 1972, in Hayward, California. Ata Johnson (born Feagaimaleata Fitisemanu Maivia) as well as Rocky Johnson (born Wayde Bowles) are his parents. His father, who is from Amherst, Nova Scotia, Canada was dark (of Black Nova Scotian descent) as is his mother, who is of Samoan family (her mother's father was Peter Fanene Maivia, also a professional wrestler). Dwayne had a great time spending time with his parents and observed his father wrestling at the ring, as the teen he was. Dwayne began playing football when he was in high school. Soon after, he earned an award to University of Miami. University of Miami and had great success as a player. Dwayne had a back injury in 1995 which ended his position on the NFL.
